About Us
This natural stone business was started in 1999. Springfield Granite – Plus was founded in December, 2006 and continues in the same location, utilizing the equipment and employees from the previous entity. Springfield Granite – Plus is owned by Sheila S. Collins of Springfield, who has over 30 years of business experience.

Springfield Granite – Plus does turn-key natural stone work for residential, high-end custom work, subdivisions and remodels - as well as select commercial projects. We work primarily in granite, but also in marble, travertine, slate, and onyx. Stone slabs are acquired and fabricated, then installed by our own crews. We can also assist in sourcing tile as needed.

We typically work within a 2-3 hour radius of Springfield, although we will consider unique projects outside that area.

Our showroom is available to assist both retail and wholesale clients with their selections. We are open M-F from 8 am to 5 pm and other times by appointment. Our showroom sales rep is experienced at helping customers with making stone selections as well as doing measurements and cost estimates for projects.

We are currently supplying granite to the Villas at Wicklow & Villas at Hickory Hills, condominium projects in Fremont Hills and Springfield. We are also working with several downtown Springfield developments, including the Kresge building and Jordan Creek Lofts.

EQUIPMENT & CREWS:
Springfield Granite – Plus is the only regional fabricator with 2 CNC (Computer Numeric Controlled / CAD) machines. This allows us to hold close tolerances for consistent quality and gives us the capacity to do large volumes of work.

We also have:

• 2 Bridge Saws
• Full complement of manual tools for profiling and polishing

We have a full time template maker and run 2 experienced installation crews.

SLAB SUPPLY:
Springfield Granite – Plus currently deals with 7 Midwest distributors, allowing us to source stone at the highest quality and most reasonable cost. Clients are invited to go to the suppliers’ sites to hand-select stone, if desired. Customers are also welcome – and encouraged - to come to our facility and approve their slabs before we begin the fabrication process.
